Phrases I Think About

  • I moved from a desert filled with cold people to a frozen city filled with warm people.

  • It’s difficult to plant roots in a city covered in concrete.

  • Strength of faith isn’t based on the amount but the object of that faith.

  • We all have wounds that we defend with walls where we don’t want anyone to touch. You could be 98% good and 2% wound and still feel like you’re broken.

  • And sometimes God tears down those walls and exposes those wounds because he doesn’t want them to fester.

  • In the kingdom of God, brokenness precedes fruitfulness.

  • When the enemy talks about God, he lies and when he talks about you, he accuses.

  • People don’t expect you to be perfect, but they expect to trust you by being honest and being real and confessing when you mess up. This shows your character.

  • When Jesus calls us sheep, it’s not supposed to be flattering. But we should all long for that kind of care.

  • You are the salt of the earth but you can lose your salt and become salty.

  • What happens if we stop seeing this world as evil?
