Church Camp

TV show, comedy, 30 mins, think Parks & Rec or the Office - mockumentary style

We follow camp counselors and campers as they go to church camp. Some church camps are a week long and some can be up to a month long - would depend. Also the ages would be a fun thing to play with. But it would be taking interviews with them and seeing what the day in a life is like. It would be wild and emotional and funny. There would be some things that are specifically Christian that seem just so wild to non-Christians and other things that are just kids having fun.

Things to include:

• capture the flag that includes kids getting seriously injured and a tired nurse (just a counselor who has first aid training and is in over their head)

• water balloon fight that ends a little violently

• bonfires that include singing and people preaching - songs are weird Christian songs and most kids aren’t paying attention to adults

• acting out Bible stories - kids get to pick and some of them are really weird

• food that’s actually good - giant cookies

• pillow fights/dorm sliding

• lots of kids getting hurt

• kids changing clothes like 5 times a day to put on a fashion show

• dance party on last day

• Bible studies

• tired counselors

• counselors staying up super late to play cards/drink/do complete mayhem

• hide and seek where kids are left alone to find counselors and kids just wander off, counselors scare kids, and even counselors just stop playing

• snakes in the bathroom/showers

• boy vs girl competitions

• star gazing
