A Christmas Love Story for NPCs

Movie, romcom, holiday think Hallmark movie.

We all know the Hallmark movies where the big city girl comes to the small town and falls in love. This would take place while one of those stories is happening except it’s about a 60-70 year old woman who lives in that small town. This is the small town that all big city girls come to to fall in love, so this woman has seen woman after woman fall in love each Christmas. She’s a bit bitter and cynical. She lost her husband 30+ years ago and has not found love again. Not that she’s planning on it.

Then one year she gets in a bit of trouble with her shop. It’s got a broken pipe or a hole in the roof or something like that. Nothing breaks down at this shop, it’s the place these big city girls come to for their morning coffee and flirt with the local boy. But this morning the shop is closed and she’s struggling with it. Her neighbor, who she doesn’t particularly like, comes and helps her out. This is the start of a love story between her and the neighbor.

As the big city girl falls in love, but eventually moves back to the city leaving the local boy in the small town, this older woman falls in love with her neighbor and become a tad softer. Christmas is a bit brighter for her this year.
